At this site I will present myself as a photographer. Here you will find my pictures, mainly birds but also other nature photography and genres that I find amusing. In the blog section (only in swedish) I will write about my thoughts on nature photograpy, gear, tips and other things that are essential for me as a photographer.

About me

I was born in 1972 at the island of Värmdö in the Stockholm archipelago, just 20 km east of Stockholm City. With nature just around the corner I discoverd the fashination of wild birds at ten years of age and since then birds have been my interest no. 1. This is something that influence my photography today. When it comes to photography and being out in nature, coastal areas and open landscapes definetly attract me more than the forest.

Today I live in a suburb of just south of Stockholm and spend my days as a professional Social Worker with young offenders in a municipality south of the city. If you have questions about me or want to use my photographs in some way, please use the contact form in the menu above.

In March 2011 I became a member of The Swedish Nature Photographers/N.

Gear

For my photography I primarily use Nikon gear, and have so done since I got my first camera in the middle of the 1980´s. Today the D700 with battery grip MB-D10 and AF-S VR 200-400/4 and AF-S VR 600/4 are my first choice of body and lenses for bird and wildlife photography. 

To support the super teles I use Gitzo GT 3530 LSV and Wimberley WH-200. I am also an avid hide/blind photographer, and tend to spend more and more time doing this kind of photography than other. It is a great way to get close to skulking birds and shy wildlife. I hope you have a nice time browsing my pictures.
